The Faces Behind the Business: Q&A with an Intercash Employee

October 26, 2023 - While many businesses know about Intercash and our global payment solutions, there are a lot of people working hard behind-the-scenes in order to make your card program a success. In this article, we are speaking with Intercash’s Head of Support, Felicie Tousignant.

What is your role at Intercash?

As the Head of Support, I lead the fantastic teams who support our valued clients on a daily basis. I'm dedicated to making sure their payment journey is seamless and enjoyable!

What does your job entail?

I am responsible for leading and managing the Account Management and Cardholder Support teams. I am here to ensure continuous exceptional support is offered to our clients, for revenue growth and overall client satisfaction. I am also responsible for internal team growth and development, while maintaining a strong focus on enhancements for efficient operation of our support functions.

How long have you worked at Intercash?

I've had the pleasure of being part of the Intercash family for some time now. I recently celebrated my two-year Intercash work anniversary at the end of June 2023.

What do you like most about your job?

What I like most about my job is having the ability to work as a team and learn so much from different departments and people throughout the business. I also very much enjoy supporting our team of Account Managers and CSRs, who are on the front lines daily, representing the company and its values. Seeing the team work together to improve and blossom is very rewarding!

What is your favorite memory from work?

I loved when everyone came to the office for a full week leading up to the company’s annual Christmas party last winter. Given that many of us work remotely, the energy when we’re all together feels special. Seeing everyone come in for a week and work closely with one another was really great. It also gave us the opportunity to enjoy some coffee breaks and team building events together before wrapping the week up with the fun Christmas party.

What do you like to do when you aren’t working?

I’m an active morning person - I love to start my day with the sunrise and take full advantage of the day. When I am not working, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends, listening to music or podcasts, working out and travelling.

What’s a fun fact about you many people may not know?

I was a competitive dancer from the age of four until the end of my teenage years. I had to stop following a back injury, but dancing has always been one of my biggest passions. I generally can’t go a day without listening to music.

If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?

Speaking every language and dialect in the world. I love to learn and connect with people, so being able to fully communicate with anyone in the world would make the learning opportunities endless!
