The Solution

As a solution, Intercash worked with the client to develop a customized Mastercard program that enables Rydeum drivers to receive compensation for their gig work via a prepaid card, which can be used at millions of retail stores, e-commerce websites and ATM locations worldwide. In addition, the payment card program benefits from Intercash’s white-label online banking portal and mobile app, allowing their gig workers to conveniently review their account balance or transaction history, report a lost or stolen card, retrieve their PIN and more.

With Rydeum’s custom payment program in place, this lean marketplace startup has been able to get off the ground quickly and now facilitates payments to all of their drivers with ease.  The white-label online banking portal and mobile app has been well-received by Rydeum’s gig worker employees and the positive experience helps to support their marketplace business model.
